ERROR: "Organization vDC is currently using Compute Policies" when removing a VM placement policy from the Provider VDC

Issue/Introduction

• When removing the VM placement policy from the Provider VDC (PVDC) the below error occurs:
  
   Organization VDC {Org VDC Name} is currently using Compute Policies [VM Placement policy Name]. Remove Compute Policy from VMs in this VDC before unpublishing.

• The VM Placement policy is still assigned to the Org VDC mentioned in the error and when selecting it the remove icon is not available

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

The VM Placement Policy is still used by one of the VMs or templates on the Org VDC.

Resolution

Identify the VM or the template still using the VM Placement Policy and change it with another VM Placement Policy available then remove the VM placement policy from the Org VDC and then from the Provider VDC.
