Receiving alerts 'Group population health is degraded' and 'Group population efficiency is degraded' on VCF Management World or VCF Workload World

Issue/Introduction

Users may observe the following critical alerts in VMware Aria Operations for VCF Management World or VCF Workload World objects:

• Group population health is degraded
• Group population efficiency is degraded

Environment

VCF Operations 9.0.x

Cause

These alerts trigger when the average health or efficiency scores of group members drop below a specific threshold (typically 25).

Resolution

1. Log in to the VCF Operations Admin UI and click Take cluster offline.
2. Wait for the status of the VCF Operations cluster to change to Offline
3. Reboot all appliance VMs in the VCF Operations cluster.
4. Log in to the VCF Operations Admin UI and click Bring cluster online.
5. Wait for the status of the VCF Operations cluster to change to Online.

Once collection resumes, metrics should return to normal values within approximately 5 minutes, and the alerts will clear automatically.
