Issue/Introduction

​During CICS initialization for CICSPROD, Date Simulator generates the following error message:
"CICSDEVL DATE SIMULATOR TOKEN RETRIEVAL FAILED"

Cause

CICS started before the Date Simulator Started task, WARPMAIN, initialized.

Resolution

The Date Simulator started task, WARPMAIN, must start before the CICS region using Date Simulator starts. The CICSDEVL CICS region must be recycled to use Date Simulator in CICS.
