Cannot Update Time Zone Preferences for EEM Domain Users in AAI

Issue/Introduction

Users logging into the Automation Analytics & Intelligence (AAI) console using the EEM domain are unable to update their Time Zone preference under the User Preferences menu.

When the same user logs in using the LDAP domain, the time zone preferences save correctly. Additionally, this is not related to a missing EEM access policy or Resource class managing privileges for the User Preferences option; it is a known system behavior.

Cause

This issue is the result of a known software defect, tracked internally under the defect ID DE184613.

Resolution

A permanent fix for this defect is targeted for AAI version 24.5.0. This version is tentatively scheduled to be released at the end of June 2026.
