cdm_teamplate 8.06 migration / one_step_migrator status: error

Issue/Introduction

While trying to migrate / Activate CDM template to version 8.06 the SSRV2ProbeTemplatesPackage status goes into 'error' state when migrating / activating from previous versions. 

one_step_migrator callback suceeds however the status ends up being  'error' so migration / template activation fails. 

Environment

DX UIM 23.4CU7 and ealier

Cause

Defect in cdm template 8.06. - new GA 8.08 is available. 

Resolution

Follow the steps below for using the latest GA Verision as per May 2026: cdm 8.08, cdm_probe_template 8.08

1. Download from Nimsoft Support Archive cdm 8.08, cdm_probe_template 8.08
   
   
2. Add cdm 8.08, cdm_probe_template 8.08 to the hub archive
   
   
3. Deploy cdm_probe_template 8.08 to the primary_hub where MCS is 
   
   
4. Use probe utility on the MCS: CTRL+P while selecting mon_config_service on the primary hub
   
   
5. Select the one_step_migrator callback and select:
   
   probe_name: cdm 
tamplate_package_version: 8.08




Migration should be correct.
