Erratic behavior on the CMDB rule page

Issue/Introduction

Users experience erratic behavior on the CMDB rule page. When performing actions on the page such as Test Rule, resource associations in the UI may appear distorted or fail to load correctly.

You may notice something like this:

• If you have more than one association added, and you click "Test rule" then either, if you have at least one Lookup Key type "<Value>", one mapping of that type gets resetted.
• Or if you have other types of Lookup keys, or more than two associations, it mixes up the Lookup keys and the Key column mappings between the different associations.
• And if you haven't noticed it yet and click on "Save changes", this "faulty" rule will be saved.

Cause

Product defect. 

Resolution

This issue has been fixed under our ITMS 8.8.2 release.

A pointfix is available for those with ITMS version 8.8.1.
