Intel-based apps no longer supported
You will not be able to open this version of CAPAMClient in future versions of macOS.
Learn how to upgrade to a Mac version with an Apple chip.

Environment

PAM 4.2.3  macOS Tahoe 26.41 (other PAM and macOS versions can be affected)

Cause

As of March 2026, Apple is phasing out support for Intel-based apps, with warnings indicating that Rosetta 2 will be removed in a future major macOS release (likely macOS 27/28). This means that eventually, Intel-only apps will stop working entirely on new versions of macOS, forcing an upgrade to native ARM versions

Resolution

Use macOS ARM PAM Client
