Signing Page Shows HTTP 301 and 404 Errors for JavaScript Files After Upgrade to 4.0.1

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to Symantec Identity Security Platform (formerly VIP Authentication Hub) version 4.0.1 from version 3.4.2, the browser console reports HTTP 301 (Moved Permanently) and 404 (Not Found) errors when attempting to access .js files on the Sign-in UI page

IDSP 4.0.1

Cause

Engineering has identified this as a known behavior in this version that does not result in functional impacts to the authentication flow

Resolution

A permanent fix for this issue is included in VIP Authentication Hub 4.0.2 and later versions (including 4.1).

Update the environment to version 4.0.2 or newer to resolve the 301/404 errors.

If an immediate upgrade is not possible, you may ignore these specific errors for JS files as they have been verified to have no impact on product functionality.
