Issue/Introduction

This article provides current object identifier (OID) assignment information used in VMware products deploying IETF SNMP technology. This article is useful when:

• You need to find the VMware MIB that contains a particular SNMP object identifier (OID), for example 1.3.6.1.4.1.12124.250.21.20.1.3 
• You are searching for an OID ending with 250.21.20.1.3

Environment

VMware vCenter Server
VMware vSphere ESXi

Cause

The OID belongs to an enterprise-specific namespace: 1.3.6.1.4.1.12124

Resolution

Contact the respective hardware/vendor support to:

• Obtain the latest MIB module/package
• Request definition for the OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.12124.250.21.20.1.3
