Installed custom certificate shows as unsecure connection when navigating to the VIP in Aria Operations for Logs

Issue/Introduction

Navigating to the VIP address in Aria Operations for Logs shows unsecure connection.

Navigating to primary or worker nodes show as secure connection.

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs 8.18.x

Cause

VIP is missing from subject alternative name.

Resolution

Follow the below steps on resolving the issue:

1. Add the FQDN of the VIP to the Subject Alternative Name (SAN) during certificate generation.
2. Install the new custom SSL certificate.
3. Log in as root on each node and restart the loginsight service beginning with the primary node.

   service loginsight restart
