HP-UX robot installer missing from UIMHOME page after upgrading to CU6 or higher

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to DX UIM 23.4.6 (CU6) or higher, the link for the HP-UX Robot installer/depot file is missing from the "Installers" page at http(s)://primary hub address/uimhome/

 

Environment

DX UIM 23.4.6 or higher
HP-UX 11.31

Cause

As of DX UIM 23.4.6, support for the HP-UX platform is deprecated. (Link to CU6 Release Notes)

 

 

Resolution

If you have upgraded from a previous version, the .depot.gz file for that version may still be located in ($UIM_HOME)/nimsoft/install/setup/ and can still be used to install robots;  defects in existing robot versions will not be fixed going forward due to the platform support deprecation.

You may also use the rsp probe to monitor HP-UX systems remotely.
