After upgrading to VMware Telco Cloud Automation (TCA) 3.4, users observe changes in the System Permissions configuration. Specifically, the System Administrator field, which previously displayed only one account, now lists two distinct accounts.
TCA: 3.4.
TCP: 5.1
This behavior is by design due to architectural changes in TCA 3.4 that consolidated management functionality within the TCA Manager (TCA-M) and modified the pairing workflow between the TCA-M and the TCA Control Plane (TCA-CP).
No corrective action is required as this represents the expected functional state for version 3.4.
The "System Administrator" field is now intentionally populated by the credentials provided during vCenter Server registration within the TCA-M (9443) UI. This ensures the management domain has the delegated authority required for lifecycle operations and Manager-to-Control-Plane communication.
Administrators should simply verify that the accounts listed have the appropriate permissions assigned within the integrated vCenter Server to maintain infrastructure interoperability.
