Issue/Introduction

After applying maintenance or upgrading to Jobtrac V11R0M5 using a new SMP/E environment (CSI), the Jobtrac started task fails to initialize. The job log indicates that several modules are missing from the CAILIB.

The missing modules include: HD0161EZ, HD0161JT, HD0162FC and HD1000SY

Cause

These modules are not standard product load modules delivered through the SMP/E RECEIVE/APPLY process.  Instead, they are site-specific modules, user exits, or interface components that are typically assembled and link-edited locally using members found in the  SAMPJCL library.  When a customer migrates to a new CSI or a clean CAILIB, these locally generated modules are absent.

Resolution

To address this, the modules must be copied/migrated to the new library or regenerated by running the job to reassemble and link them.

The SAMPJCL library should have the following members to assemble/link these modules:

  • ASMURTEZ for HD0161EZ
  • ASMURTJT for HD0161JT
  • ASMURTFC to assemble/link HD0162FC
  • The STAGE2 sample job creates a step called ASMURTSY that will assemble/link HD1000SY.
