Issue/Introduction

When attempting to complete a Change Management move request or promotion of a YMSG object, the job fails with a severity 40 error:

Run-unit ended at 1993 in YPARDTAR1I

The run-unit is stopped with reason 5: "A STOP statement or a call to PLIDUMP with the stop (S) option was run.

It appears that when a MSG has parameters defined using a File's access path (i.e. Retrieval Index), the move job fails.

The File that is used on the message parameter with the Retrieval Index has a database definition that includes Extended by. The Extended by is not included in the Retrieval Index access path.

Cause

The failure occurs because the File used on the message parameter with the Retrieval Index includes an "Extended by" database definition that is missing from the Retrieval Index access path itself.

Resolution

There is a PTF available to resolve this issue.
