VCF Operations 9: Management domain vCenter duplicated in UI and inventory

Issue/Introduction

Fleet Management - Lifecycle in the UI shows the management domain twice under every page.

For example in the UI under Administration - Integrations the domain is listed twice, seen here in the screenshot ending in mgmt.

 

Environment

VCF Operations 9.0.1

Cause

The management vCenter has been integrated using its IP address and subsequently integrated with the FQDN, causing duplication.

Resolution

1. In the VCF Operations 9.0.x UI browse to Infrastructure Operations - Configurations - Inventory Management
2. Expand Adapter Instances and expand VMware Cloud Foundation.
3. Select the VCF adapter and you will notice 
4. Click on the 3 rectangles in the bottom left of the screen and tick the box for identifier 1
   
   • Identifier 1 shows if this particular adapter is configured using the IP Address or FQDN
5. Select the vMGMT domain that was configured with IP Address
6. Select the 'X' to delete the duplicated object.
