Issue/Introduction

When deploying an OS Image to a target PC the following error is received.

CAnet: error 53

The network path was not found.

 

FATAL ERROR: No camenu-11 Boot Server share available !!!

Cause

There is a DNS resolution issue preventing the target pc from resolving the address of the bootserver.

This is proven by pressing "shift + F10" when the error is seen. This will provide an cmd window. using this cmd window we can try to ping the bootserver which works by IP but fails by name.

Resolution

Fix the DNS issue preventing the resolution of the bootservers name by the target PC.
