Blueprint Selection Error in Roadmaps

Issue/Introduction

In the Modern UX (MUX) Roadmaps module, users are unable to select or view blueprints.

The following symptoms occur:

• The Blueprint dropdown fails to load or display values.  
• When attempting to access the dropdown, a "System Error - Contact system administrator" message may appear.  

Errors:

Browser Console:

.../lookups/BLP_BLUEPRINTS/lookupValues returns a 404 (Not Found) or 500 (Internal Server Error).  

app-ca.log:

ERROR ... ppm.rest ... com.ca.ppm.rest.exception.NotFoundException: API-1003: Could not find resource BLP_BLUEPRINTS WARN ... nde.lookup ... Could not load lookup of type BLP_BLUEPRINTS

Resolution

The issue can be resolved by forcing a refresh of the lookup definition within the Studio. Open the lookup and navigate to the Browse Window or Preview tab to confirm the error. Return to the General properties of the lookup. Click Save and Continue.
