The OM View SARSTC started task terminates with a B37 abend (out of space) on the SARFRDS (Forward Recovery Dataset) file.
OM View 14.0
A B37 abend on the SARFRDS file occurs when the dataset exceeds its allocated space. Because a new FRDS is only created at the start of a View backup cycle, the system cannot "switch" to a new file when the current one fills up, leading to the termination of the SARSTC task.
To prevent this issue, ensure that the SARINIT parameters RCVPRIM and RCVSEC provide sufficient space. It is recommended to set RCVSEC higher than RCVPRIM to allow for necessary expansion within a single generation.
Note: After running SARINIT to update these parameters, recycle the SARSTC task for the changes to take effect.
