Mac Agent 8.10.0 High Memory & System Extension Restarting

Issue/Introduction

After installing Agent 8.10.0 the Agent is using 15GB of memory (or more). 

Environment

• App Control Agent: 8.10.0
• Apple macOS: All Supported Versions

Cause

Engineering is investigating the potential culprits associated with these issues under CRE-23262 and CRE-23300.

Resolution

In the meantime, open a case with Support and provide the following logs:

• Agent Performance Logs for macOS while recreating the performance issues.
• Recent IPS files from

  /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/com.vmware.carbonblack.appc-es-loader.appc-es-extension-TIMESTAMP.ips
