  • FAILS Infrastructure Validations -> DNS Server is not reachable
    
    
    
    
  • Fails VCF Automation Validations -> DNS server reachability check.

Cause

DNS Server VIP PTR record and A record does not match.

Resolution

Set a DNS server that has matching PTR and A records.

After deployment reconfigure DNS settings to use the DNS VIP.

Additional Information

DNS Servers: To select the DNS server that you want to configure VCF Automation with, click Edit Server Selection. If the DNS server that you want is not available, click Add New Server to add and select it.
