Issue/Introduction

You are looking to see if you can reuse the Oracle DB user for Clarity database from the properties.xml for accessing the Clarity database, running queries, integrations etc.

Any Supported Clarity Releases

Resolution

• As a best practice, we recommend the Clarity database user to be limited to use only for Clarity application in properties.xml
• For any other purposes, connecting, running queries, running integrations, we recommend creating separate Oracle users with only the appropriate permissions on this schema
