This guide provides essential planning steps of validating NSX infrastructure health to prevent network extension and migration failures.

Resolution

• Validate the NSX connection status from HCX 9443 page. 
• Confirm the  compute Manager connectivity is in a successful state within the NSX Manager UI to avoid network discovery failures as documented in KB 410846.
• Disable dhcp filtering for both server and client block on the target NSX segments to ensure virtual machines receive ip addresses as per KB 321662.( Not applicable if MON is enabled )
• Verify the health of the NSX Manager appliance to ensure all services are running and disk utilization is within normal limits.
• Ensure no specific MTU is set on the NSX uplink profiles to maintain consistency across the transport network.
