Administrator unable to login Bypass URL

Issue/Introduction

After switching to SAML, authentication is failing when attempting to log in to the Enforce console using the built-in administrator account via the bypass URL: https://[hostname or IP address]/ProtectManager/admin/Logon:

10 oct. 2025 11:09:58,951- Thread: 133 WARNING [com.symantec.dlp.login.spring.SymantecSAMLAuthenticationProvider] Only the Administrator can bypass SAML using form based authentication.
10 oct. 2025 11:09:59,012- Thread: 133 INFO [com.symantec.dlp.login.spring.SymantecLoginAuditLogger] Unsuccessful login attempt for user Administrator at IP address: X.X.X.X

Environment

DLP Enforce 16.x -26.1

Cause

Built-in administrator password is made out of 30 or more characters.

Resolution

Permeant fix is targeted in 27.1 DLP release, until that time please use workaround to set up  built-in administrator password to be 30 or less characters.
