Issue/Introduction

Which of the DX UIM Infrastructure Monitoring probes are supported natively in DX Operational Observability (DXO2) SaaS?

Unified Infrastructure Agent (UIA)

Resolution

The following probes may be configured using the monitoring configuration workflow (Infrastructure Monitors):

• cdm (CPU, Disk, Memory Performance) Monitoring
• rsp (Remote System Probe) Monitoring
• vmware (VMWare) Monitoring
• sqlserver (SQL Server) Monitoring
• dirscan (File and Directory Scan) Monitoring
• snmpcollector (SNMP Data) Monitoring
• sybase Monitoring
• processes (Processes) Monitoring 

 

For the below probes, the monitoring configuration workflow is under development and expected to be released in an upcoming SaaS refresh. However, customers can still use ACC to create monitoring bundles and packages for them in order to verify their data collection capabilities:

• net_connect (Network Connectivity) Monitoring
• ntservices (Microsoft Windows NT Services) Monitoring
• logmon (Log) Monitoring
