Issue/Introduction

The IM Tasks are failing with an error code 80 (OTHER-LdapNamingException): failed to add entry eTADSDirectoryName=abc,eTNamespaceName=ActiveDirectory,dc=im,dc=etasa: JCS@xyz: JNDI: Failed to activate connector on proxy connector server: LDAP connection has been closed.

The C++ services status is in a stop state. Even after starting the services, it is going down within a few seconds.

Environment

Vapp 14.5.1 CHF2

Connector server on Windows 

Cause

Some Windows files got corrupted

Resolution

> Performed steps mentioned in the KB Article link below, but it didn't resolve the issue.

> Copied the im_css file from the working server and replaced it in the problematic server, but still the C++ services stop after some time.

Once the Windows event viewer dashboard screen is resolved, the C++ Connector Server service is up and stable.
