Issue/Introduction

I can see in some alarms noisy lifecycle events correlated_external_ids / correlated_external_id. It creates hundreds records without any value and what worst, it seem affected alarm is freshly updated, but it's not true.

How to avoid these noisy invaluable events or how to get rid of them?

Resolution

After updating the compaction rules to consider dx_Ipaddress_list  attribute for correlation and exclude kafka_comsumer_ Group , Agent, kafka broker type from compacting, it was found that some vertices, when they come live, will have the old normalized attribute, so it participated in the compaction.  After recorrecting the compaction, the user was able to correlate the issue with the data vs the updated mapping rules.
