Issue/Introduction

When configuring the OPS/MVS EMA Interface in Configuration Manager,  a blue-colored message in the upper-right hand corner of the dialog window appears that says, "AP must have 'create global objects' user right." Configuring CCI under OPS/MVS EMA event configuration dialog, also shows this message.  Is this message an error in Automation Point?

Resolution

The message shown in Configuration Manager that "AP must have the 'Create Global Objects' user right" is not an error message. It is a reminder that the user account used to start and run Automation Point must have this right. The Local System account has this right by default, but if the AP Admin configures the product to run under a Standard User Account, then the user must be given "Create Global Objects" User right.
