Unable to update fields in Grid in Project – Staff intermittently due to cache

Issue/Introduction

Intermittently, all users lose all ability to update Project Staff fields in Production whilst Staffing works. The issue will resolve with cache clear or itself after 15-40 min

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. On a high load load balanced environment, many PM work at once on Project Staff by updating allocation and Notes field

Expected Results: to be able to update those normally

Actual Results: Intermittently, at the times of the highest load, not able to update any fields in Project – Staff, on all projects, for all users. Staffing will work correctly

Clarity 16.3.3.

Cause

Issue is possibly due to stale caches

Resolution

This is DE186908, in review by Engineering

Workaround: Clear caches. Problem also resolves itself after 15-40 minutes
