Question about an Alarm closure that didn't trigger a Notification

Issue/Introduction

we have an issue with Alarms not triggering a closure notifiction to a GChat channel. The initital notification for the creation of the Alarm is sent and the Alarm is moved to a CLOSED state when the metric returns to normal, but the closure notification is not sent. I've included some details below but let me know if anything else is needed.

The Lifecycle Events of the Alarm show "Channel status - Success" and then later "Changed from "UPDATED" to "CLOSED"" as well as "Changed from "1.0" to "0.0"" but we don't then get an Event for sending the closure notification.

Resolution

User changed the Policy trigger alarm notifications "none" and it is working fine now.
