Issue/Introduction

In CA Privileged Access Manager (PAM) cluster environments, administrators may observe the following:

  • The CSPM.EVENT_LOCAL database table grows excessively large (e.g., exceeding 25GB).
  • The table contains a high number of rows (e.g., over 27 million).
  • High disk usage is reported across all primary nodes in the cluster.
  • Potential performance degradation on the replication leader or other cluster members

Cause

This issue is caused by a product defect tracked as DE648195. The defect results in logging or data retention within the CSPM.EVENT_LOCAL table, particularly during heavy A2A (Application-to-Application) client activity or specific event processing routines.

Resolution

This defect has been addressed in PAM 4.3.1
