Issue/Introduction

A job which updates the SMFP cycle on daily basis had one clean run for the daily cycle and there was a additional run by mistake on the same day which failed in STEP DAY020 with below error - 
BAS00194E =====> *** ABORT ERROR ***                                           
BAS00194E =====> CHECKPOINT DOES NOT MATCH REQUIRED PREDECESSOR STEP.   
How to reset the 'D_STEP' checkpoint to 900? 

Cause

invalid checkpoint can be caused by accidental submission of out-of-sequence jobs or incomplete previous daily cycles

Resolution

Manually update the first line of the checkpoint data set (e.g., prefix.MICS.ZCIC.CHECKPT.DATA) to D=900 and restart the job
