Issue/Introduction

In Tanzu HUB v10.4 TIA feature allows user to search through data for the tasks and other environments. Operator can use TIA to search through KB databases from Tanzu.

Resolution

The new feature will be able to search through the Tanzu sources as per the docs, based on Modes. Different mode will allow for different level of functionality. 1. Disabled    TIA is turned off for the organization. In this mode, users will not see TIA in the product.    None. No Internet access required.
2. Basic    TIA provides a natural language interface with Tanzu product documentation and Knowledge Base. In this mode, TIA does not use an LLM.    None. No Internet access required.
3. Advanced    Unlocks additional AI-powered capabilities through the Broadcom cloud proxy. In this mode, TIA uses an LLM.    A valid license key and Internet access. For instructions, see Enable advanced mode in Tanzu Intelligent Assist.
4. Full LLM    Connects TIA to your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint for full LLM capabilities. In this mode, TIA uses an LLM.    An OpenAI-compatible API endpoint and valid credentials. For instructions, see Configure a custom LLM endpoint for Tanzu Intelligent Assist.
