Restart the vCenter Server adapter instance in Aria Operations to drop any hung collection threads and initiate a fresh polling cycle:
Log in to the VMware Aria Operations user interface.
Navigate to Data Sources > Integrations (or Configurations > Inventory Management > Adapter Instances, depending on the specific Aria Operations version).
Select the affected vCenter Server adapter instance.
Click Stop from the toolbar.
Wait for the collection status to report as stopped.
Click Start from the toolbar to initialize a fresh collection cycle.
Allow one full polling cycle (typically 5 minutes) for the metrics to synchronize and the stale alert to automatically cancel.
