After Upgrading to Server 8.12.0 New Publishers Are Missing Certificates

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to Server 8.12.0, any new Publisher added in Rules > Software Rules > Publishers shows no certificates in All Certificates For This Publisher.

Environment

• App Control Server 8.12.0

Cause

• The App Control Server will build the Certificate Chain and Trust Status for all certificates sent by Agents.
• A condition in the logic while building the Certificate Chain caused an optional step to be a hard failure and abort validation of all certificates, even though Trust Status from the chain was available.

Resolution

This issue was tracked under EPCB-24890 and will be included in the release of Server 8.13.0.
