Ingest Email Alarms into DX O2

Issue/Introduction

Users may want to ingest alarms into DX O2 from source systems that do not support outbound webhooks but do support sending email notifications.

 

Cause

DX O2 does not currently have a native email client or template-based parsing mechanism to ingest alarms directly from an email inbox. This is a current product limitation.

Resolution

Direct email-to-alarm ingestion is not supported in the current version of DX O2. An Enhancement Request (ER) has been filed to address this requirement.
