Issue/Introduction

From Endevor interface, the lower case path keeps getting translated to upper case.

How to define the Source O/P library in the Type definition in lower case?

What are the other requirement to use a USS path and directory for Source Output libraries in Endevor Type definitions.

Environment

Release: All supported versions of CA Endevor SCM
Component: ENDBAS

Resolution

In order to define any USS directory and path names that are in lower and mixed case use the Site Symbols feature.
Use the Site Symbols facility in Endevor to define global symbols that can define reference data set specifications.

The ESYMBOLS table allows to associate USS directory and path names that are in lower and mixed case to an Upper case Symbol that can be used to reference a Source O/P Library in the Type definition screen.
