Aria Automation Orchestrator Workflow logs missing for older executions

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Older Aria Automation Orchestrator workflow runs display a blank black background instead of log output in the UI.
• Attempting to download the logs for these specific runs results in an empty 0-byte file.

Environment

Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.x

Cause

Excessive log generation by a separate, highly active workflow caused the logging subsystem to reach its rotation threshold prematurely, reducing the effective log retention window.

Resolution

• Reduce the logging verbosity of the additional highly active workflow to directly mitigate the rapid storage consumption and normalize the retention lifecycle.

• Increase the log rotation settings to expand the storage buffer for log retention, allowing older workflow run logs to persist on disk for longer periods before being purged.

  1. Log into the Aria Automation Orchestrator web client.

  2. Navigate to System Settings > Log configuration.
