AWS K8s Usage Report Shows Data, but AWS K8s Cost History Report Is Missing Data

Issue/Introduction

The AWS K8s Usage report displays current data, but the AWS K8s Cost History report is missing current and/or historical data.

Resolution

Verify that the AWS account is properly configured for the tenant. The AWS K8s Cost History report requires both:

• AWS Cost and Usage Report (CUR) ingestion
• A deployed container collector

If either is missing, cost data will not populate.

Note: The AWS K8s Usage report is cloud-agnostic and only requires a container collector, which is why usage data may still appear even when cost data is absent.
