Issue/Introduction

  • LDAP user login fails with error username and password combination incorrect or account locked despite entering correct credentials.
  • On SSP UI, System > User management > Authentication Providers > View LDAP Server. You see LDAP status Enabled off.

Environment

SSP 5.1.1

Resolution

  • On SSP UI, System > User management > Authentication Providers > Edit LDAP server > Enable.
  • Log in to SSP UI with LDAP user. User should be able to login with LDAP credentials.
