DigiCert has announced that starting May 15, 2026 they will be transitioning away from multipurpose G2 and G3 roots towards a dedicated public root TLS hierarchy. This is being done to comply with Google Chrome's root program requirements. As a result they will be revoking several intermediate CA certificates.
There is no impact to VIP cloud endpoints. All certificates used by VIP already are signed by and chain to the DigiCert Global G2 TLS RSA SHA256 2020 CA1 certificate. No action is required by customers as a result of this change.
