Is the Windows 365 Cloud PC OS supported?

Issue/Introduction

Microsoft has introduced the Windows 365 Cloud PC OS hosted in the Microsoft Cloud, but will the Carbon Black Cloud sensor be supported on these endpoints?

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Windows Sensor: All Supported Versions
• Microsoft Windows OS: Windows 365 Cloud PC

Resolution

At this time Carbon Black Product Management will not qualify this Windows 365 Cloud PC OS, and there's no plan to qualify this in the future. It should work, but this configuration is considered best effort/unsupported.

Additional Information

• At its core, Windows 365 Cloud PC isn't a new operating system; it is a highly optimized, cloud-based instance of Windows 10 or Windows 11, which are technically supported OS versions.
