Issue/Introduction

  • After deleting a VM the IP address allocated to it remain visible in the Tenant UI at Data Centers > Networking > Networks > [Network Name] > IP Usage > IPv4 Allocations / IPv6 Allocations.
  • Errors were encountered during the original deletion attempt of the VM stating:

    No row with the given identifier exists: [com.vmware.vcloud.fabric.compute.model.ComputeVmModel#efea####-####-####-####-############]

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1.x

Cause

This issue can occur if there are stale IP allocation references in the Cloud Director database.
