Issue/Introduction

The upgrade script failed to upgrade during the installp process with the following error.

installp:  The installation has FAILED for the "usr" part
of the following filesets:
CAeAC 14.10.80.24
ERROR: Upgrade of CAeAC  failed Review log file /var/tmp/pamsc.Install.log

Cause

Using a parameters file from an older build caused the failure because it lacks required values for version 14.10.80.24. A mismatch from the previous versions parameter file triggerd the error code generated.

Resolution

Run customize_eac_bff -g to export a new, clean parameter file from the current build. Next modify only the necessary specific parameters you require in the newly exported file. Re-run customize_eac_bff -s to create a clean package for the installation/upgrade.
