When we try to export a large number of Configuration Items, e.g. over 10,000, a pop up message "Processing Export data, please wait..." is shown and the hour-glass keeps spinning as shown below. It appears as though it is hanging.

You need to increase a value of the NX.env variable EXPORT_STATUS_TIMEOUT from 1800 to an appropriate value, which depends on the number of CIs and exported columns.
The NX.env variable EXPORT_STATUS_TIMEOUT was introduced by a T patch for r12.9 and the Cumulative #1 or #2 patch for r14.1. The patch Post Installation steps introduce it and set the value to 1800. However, it may need to be further increased should you still encounter the problem.
