Why is message “TRAC896I CA-GSS NETWORKING UNAVAILABLE FOR SPECIFIED CA-GSS SUBYSTEM” occurring in CA Jobtrac Job Management?
Answer:
Message “TRAC896I CA-GSS NETWORKING UNAVAILABLE FOR SPECIFIED CA-GSS” is an informational message. It is issued because GSS could not obtain information from CA Jobtrac to fully support NJE. This message can occur if you have a JESNODE statement in the GSS runparm that is incorrect. It also can occur if the JESNODE statement is commented in GSS runparms.
If you are doing NJE processing with CA Jobtrac, the JESNODE statement will be needed in GSS runparm on both systems. Please also ensure that GOALNET has been implemented on both systems.
