New Report Scheduling Fails When Email Body Is Empty

Issue/Introduction

When using the New Reporting feature, scheduling a report with an empty email body results in a failure

  1. Log in to Clarity MUX with appropriate Reporting workspace access rights.
  2. Navigate to Available Reports.
  3. Right-click on any report and select Schedule.
  4. In the scheduling pop-up, configure the required details across all tabs.
  5. Go to the Email tab:
    • Enter values in the To, CC, or BCC fields.
    • Leave the Message (Email Body) fields blank.
    • Select the option to send the Report as an attachment.
  6. Save or submit the schedule.

Actual Result: The report scheduling fails with the reported error

Failed while executing report : com.ca.ppm.export.ExportException: Failed to process export for report 

However the report out can still be downloaded from Reports Library

Expected Result: The report scheduling should be successful
