Issue/Introduction

When running command, "purecert list" on a Pure storage array CLI interface, you see certificates that start with, "vhost-################-ctX".

Environment

vCenter version=8.0.3

ESXi 8.0.3

Pure 6.9.3

VASA 4.0.0

Cause

These certificates are issued by the VMware Certificate Authority (VMCA) and automatically pushed from vCenter to the array controllers during VASA Provider registration or refresh events.

Resolution

This is expected behavior when using vVols
