Issue/Introduction

Broadcom Software is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Software Group Site Management functionality available in the Broadcom Support Portal. 

Resolution

Customers now have the capabilities to manage access to their product portfolio through simple to use self-service tools available in the Broadcom Support Portal

Key highlights include:

  • Provide User Administrators the capability to control user product access by creating Group Sites within the Support Portal and assigning specific products and users to those Group Sites.

  • Based on the configuration of the Group Site, users will have limited access to their assigned products across all major modules within the Broadcom Support Portal including:
    • Case Management
    • Product Downloads
    • Product Licensing
    • Subscription Preferences

  • Eliminate the need for customers / account teams to create additional support site IDs, rebook contracts and realign user access.
