Error message "VKG0135I Vantage Object=AUTCOVOA Not Available"

Issue/Introduction

Installed Vantage StoragePoint (Vantage SP) web client and configured with minimum required VKGPARMS.

The following error is received when clicked on General Automation Scripts from Script Manager Menu from left side tool bar on Vantage SP web client.

Object general automation script (AUTCOVOA) not available on selected host. Verify that the object exists and that you are authorized to access it. xxx: VKG0135I Vantage object=AUTCOVOA is NOT available.

Resolution

The following two changes are required and then recycle the Vantage Host (SAMS) task.

1. Uncomment the following from CONFIG member of your parm lib.

Remove the * from the first line.
*COMP=AUTO         SHOULD BE COMMENTED OUT FOR CA Vantage GMI. 

 

2. Add the following parms to the VKGPARMS member.

SUAUT    (Y) 
AUTGOA (Y)

Recycle the Vantage Host (SAMS) task.
