Issue/Introduction

  • In VCF Operations, under License Management, the no vCenter server is listed as available for license assignment.
  • The following message is displayed in the vCenter Server System field:

    No Data Found

    The table lists vCenter instances of version 9+ which are managed by this VCF Operations instance. To add version 9+ vCenter systems and activate license management, go to integrations.

  • The vCenter 9 integration is already added and the adapter instance status is OK.

Resolution

Ensure that the user configured in the authentication credentials has the appropriate roles and permissions assigned.

  1. The user must be a member of the LicenseService.Administrators Single Sign-On group. For instructions on how to be a member of the LicenseService.Administrators Single Sign-On group, refer to Add Members to a vCenter Single Sign-On Group.

  2. After configuring the Credential, click [Administration] > [Integration], edit VCF or vCenter instance and retry the VALIDATE CONNECTION and MANAGE INTEGRATION.
